چکیده
A recurrent pattern in the representation of actions and processes is the notion of exchange. It is a concept primarily characterised by a structure of processes or actions, rather than inherent properties, but has a strong ontological flavour. Exchange is furthermore governed by reciprocity, reflected by the way in which roles are constrained. Representing exchange and other structured objects in an ontology poses a number of conceptual and technical problems. While these concepts require a diamond like structure, DLs are generally restricted to tree structures only. Constraints on the identity of the individuals that fill the roles in e.g. transactions cannot be enforced directly in the A-Box. In this paper we present a knowledge pattern and methodology for approximating such structures.

Variations on Standard Brillianteering of Round Brilliant Diamonds
process — cutters sometimes use “painting” or its opposite “digging out” to improve weight retention. However, these processes can affect the face-up appearance of a diamond, particularly its contrast pattern. Figure 1 (top) illustrates a round brilliant diamond before this last polishing step, which includes the fashioning of the stars and the halves (also called the upper girdle and lower gir...
متن کاملPREPARATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF TiO2 Fe2O3 NANOCOMPOSITE BY SOL GEL METHOD
Nanocomposites have improved aspect ratio and better mechanical properties when compared to the composites which had structures less than 100nm They are 1000 times tougher compared to conventional composites. Besides mechanical properties, nanocomposites also have improved electrical conductivity, thermal stability, chemically resistant, flame retardant and low permeability. TiO2 finds its best...
متن کاملRestoring the past glory of Diamond Mining in south India- A plausible case of diamondiferous Wajrakarur kimberlite pipe clusters with geochemical evidences
A plausible case of collective and economical mining of diamondiferous kimberlite deposits of Wajrakarur and adjoining places in Andhra Pradesh, southern India along with the whole-rock geochemical evidences in support of their diamond potentiality are discussed in this article. The kimberlites/lamproites are mantle-derived ultrabasic rocks which rarely carry diamonds from mantle to the earth’s...

We study the concept of jointness for guessing principles, such as ♦κ and various Laver diamonds. A family of guessing sequences is joint if the elements of any given sequence of targets may be simultaneously guessed by the members of the family. We show that, while equivalent in the case of ♦κ, joint Laver diamonds are nontrivial new objects. We give equiconsistency results for most of the lar...
